Current events in Serbia are turbulent. After the tragic event in Novi Sad, and a series of incidents that threatened their personal safety, students have initiated protests against corruption, fighting for truth and justice. The students are calling for an adequate response from the government institutions and for their demands to be met; through a dignified and non-violent expression of rebellion: a 16-minute silence to commemorate the victims in Novi Sad at protests of tens of thousands of people, multi-day hikes of hundreds of kilometres during which they meet citizens across Serbia, with slogans, noise, artistic actions, performances and blockades of major city intersections. Due to their unreserved support of students, the academic community, including the entire community of pre-university education, is under great continuous pressure. Faculties and schools have suspended classes, and students and professors stand together in this fight.

We invited students from outside Serbia to join the protest action GET INVOLVED and with their creative contribution, through art, architecture, and design, support the efforts of their colleagues in Serbia and be actors in promoting the solidarity of the academic community.
